Hey guys I am just wondering what people are getting for the Windows Experience Index with their G73. The difference in the WEI between the G73JH-B1 and the G73JW-A1. I done a check at Best Buy on their model of the G73 and one time it was all in the 7.0+ except for the HDD. Then the other day, I went in there and checked again and the Graphics Score (HD5870) was only a meager 6.0. Maybe the drivers or something were not up-to-date, but still..... The system I ordered and being built is in my signature. I am wondering what I should expect with my HDD Upgrades and the rest of the equipment. Also, some input from someone that has done some overclocking would be an awesome addition as well. Thanks in advance!!!

are my scores with a jh...no idea why the bb one is so low.

I would not really know how the 460 stacks up compared to my 5870
I do have the 1333 ram

lol it's just a .1 point difference. WEI likes to be a little random with the numbers, my scores use to similar to yours but they've gone down since I had to rerun the assessment before, if I reran it again I'd most likely be up again. As long as the change isn't drastic like a whole point or two difference then there's nothing to worry about it. The WEI is just kinda there, there's no real purpose to it.

Ahh... Ok thanks. Those scores make much more sense to me. Yea, I figured that they really didn't matter as much, but I just wanted to see where they stand. Thanks!

    well my g73jw gets
    7.2
    7.5
    7.2
    7.2
    5.9

need to get some ssd's in there. i had some minor overclocking on the gpu, the temp never reach 65 degrees even. so I'm happy now with the jw (not that i had a choice anyway , cant find a jh anywhere). only problem i get now in first when i start a game or load a new map or section the framerate drops off for a bit until the hdd's finish loading then its 60 fps at max setting 1920x1080. thats where the ssd's come in haha they should fix that issue
