    Hi all,

I need to have my two external monitors (Dell 24 with 1920x1200 res) connected to my laptop and finally get rid of my desktop. Of course, my G73JW came nVidia GTX 460M 1.5Mb card.

This is for programming purposes so any combination of monitor connection is acceptable. Each monitor have both DVI-D and VGA input. Right now, I'm using the laptop screen as my second monitor and need more real estate.

Has anyone tried this setup? Is it possible? HDMI out to 2 DVI?

    Thank you.

Why not output through both VGA and HDMI, that should allow you to display on two external monitors. You will loose the laptop's monitor though. If you want three monitors, you will need a USB dongle to output to the third monitor.

VGA on and HDMI the other.

Do not use the USB, as that option sucks. I tried it and was very unhappy with the results.

But yes you do loose the Laptop is self, but I am sure that is ok...
    Just keep it fans clean...

Both above options are more elegant than what I was thinking. Thank you both.

Losing the laptop display is not a problem. Having two 24 inch displays more than compensate for it. :)
