It's my understanding that the only nice feature is the 3DTV software that allow only-for-noobs-3D content on 3D tvs. The rest is just the same than the JH model. Anyway....bench it now!!!!!

The little * next to the GTX460 listing is to show that this rank is based on prediction made from the specs of the GPU and not from actual benchmarks.

It's base on predictions from the reference sheets and they can be different from the final specs since the depend exclusively on the system builder. Must wait for real reviews.

Example of this is the Dell Studio XPS 1647, which came with HD5730 but the memory are not gddr5....epic fail.

While I could care less about 3D in gaming, the fact that the panel can operate at 120Hz when 3D is off is a very nice feature for gaming.

of course its vBios will be working... they couldnt fix the HD5870m so they just made a new G73 with an nvidia... simple as that.

Couldn't be more wrong. The G73jw has been in the works well before any issues with vBios was known. Asus has already made a 3D Vision notebook, this is the successor to that.

If that 460m performs even marginally close to the 5870m I just might pull the trigger..... I do not want to get a GSOD G73 and be stuck in RMA hell, if Garys full vbios was out now it would probably be a different story

i was between the g73jh and the MSI GX660R... but thats a good new option for the g73jh if it match or almost match the 5870

Well technically it's a jh that is 133mhz faster, has usb3 and a 120hz capable lcd and has an NV gpu... I'm not entirely sure that those warrant the $90 markup (or $190 from a jh-a2!). I'm sure people will be looking forward to hands-on reviews when it lands...

Well, it may be marginally close, plus have Physx support.
