    Hi

I've just bought a two week old Asus G73JW on ebay. It really is fantastic, my only problem is that the webcam isn't working or even seen by the laptop.

I can't even see the webcam entry or even Imaging section in the device manager.

    Can anyone suggest any idea's?

    Thanks in advance
    Nick

Ok, turning this question on its head, does anyone have a G73JW with a working webcam?

    Thanks

Could you open up the Device Manager, select the webcam and tell us what drivers and the device instance id from the details tab please?

Just an update. After trying everything, I sent it back under manufacturers warranty. They arranged a courier, collected on Monday and returned on the Friday, excellent courier service. The problem was faulty hardware so they replaced the webcam unit.
