NEVER MIND, finally fixed it. apparently it was a conflict with the adobe acrobat plugin. After disabling that, everything works fine.

So I've had my new laptop for about a month and a half and I've had a strange problem. My keyboard works perfectly when I'm just typing or playing a full screen game (I've been playing Fallout 3 a lot with no problems) but when I'm online and trying to play a flash game, the keyboard rarely, if ever, responds to it.

Today I was trying to play one, and it worked for about a minute, then stopped responding in the flash game, and some weird stuff happened. In the game, you were supposed to press Q to switch weapons, and it would switch if I rapidly hit the space bar. While the game was open, I could still type out of the game and do anything else, it just seems limited to the flash game itself. And no, its not a problem with me not clicking inside the game first, I've tried that repeatedly, as well as right clicking, to no avail. I've tried searching for a solution, but can't find any that does anything.

    INFO:
    -using newest version of firefox
-have the newest versions of flash player and java installed
-windows 7 premium on asus G73JW
-trying to play the flash games on kongregate (its not just one game, all of them seem to have this problem)
-again, it works fine everywhere, including games like fallout 3 and on steam, just not on flash games. The keys that wont work are the main keys you would use on a flash game, like Q, W, E, R, A, S, D, F space bar, etc

Anyone have any ideas as to what may be causing this? If you need any other information, feel free to ask.

Update: Ok it seems like if I hold down CTRL and press the buttons, they work perfectly in a flash game, which is strange and incredibly inconvenient.
