I have tried researching this but i think i need someone to clarify it for me. I just bout a G73JW-A1 and reinstalled the o.s. with my copy of 7 ultimate as soon as i got it - i never bothered to even boot into the factory o.s. Anyways, i have the intel turbo boost monitor gadget installed and can see it dynamically increasing cpu speed. interestingly enough, the "IntelR Turbo Boost Technology Driver" asus has on the download site for this model does not install -- says it does not meet the minimum requirements. anyways i also cant get the middle button (overclock button?) on the top left to do anything either.... the other 2 are working after installing some stuff from asus.
and do i really even need the power4gear hybrid thing? the turbo button in that app doesnt seem to do anything either.

am i missing something or is the turbo button thing supposed to be useless?

Turbo button won't work without P4G. It is pretty useless anyway, honestly.

Is it? I was wondering about that, I mean. Id rather not have that crap on my PC. Is there a way to just uninstall it and it will still go into turbo mode itself? Yeah, those buttons....useless.... To much flash...bleh

did you figure out this becouse i haven't
i don't have the drivers disk with me so i tried to install everything from the asus site and i was unable to install a few things
    1. IntelR Turbo Boost Technology Driver (does not meet the minimum requirements)
    2. Camera_Chicony_7246 (ERROR) i am sure this is the real driver camera 2.0
3.and how can i find which wireless driver to install . My wireless card is Atheros AR9285 but i couldn't find drivers for atheros at the Asus site so i downloaded them from atheros.cz (Atheros AR9285 v9.2.0.113)

and last thing. Can someone explain to me what are those declaration and certification on asus site ( FCC Declaration of Conformity, CE Declaration of Conformity , CB Certification .. )
do you install them or import or else ???

nope i cant get it to install from the disk or the asus site. i think its likely that all you need to do is install the monitor gadget.... seems to make it work properly

Ruckenmark I think you're talking about the G73jh (for using 211 Bios and radeon GPU), not the jw.
