Any one else ever get this? 3rd clean install with W7 64bit. Only happens sporadically usually from a cold boot. I'm on bios 203, am using ONLY official ASUS provided drivers. Everything is stock - no O/C, etc. Any ideas? It makes getting in to the bios a pain, as the entire LCD screen goes white. Usually goes away after a reboot, but is driving me nuts. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Again, I am running 100% stock speed, clean install on 64bit Win7 with SP1 and all updates, Any ideas?

Just out of curiousity does this also occur if you connect an external monitor?
Also if you press F2 can you get into the BIOS and at that point are you able to naviate and see the screens? If you can try resting to BIOS to all default settings.
I understand you hesitancy to flash VBIOS.

Joshinator the bug looks real on my G73, I smacked my screen a few times :D

    Hmm this is very odd.
The only answer is the data cable from the motherboard to monitor is bad(unlikly) or your graphics card is done.

If your hesitant of flashing the vbios,
    Send it in to asus?
Simple as that, and wait 4weeks to get it back :(
But if you truly are not tech savoy just send it to them.

    Thanks for the replies guys!
@joshanator, I don't think my GPU is "done" because it works fine once windows loads and while playing games (no overheats and good frame rates).

@JOSEA, I tried to connet an external monitor via VGA and it does the same(the picture displays on the external monitor only after boot ends. the entire boot process shows only on the laptop screen)

No, I cant navigate into the bios when I see this blank white screen.
If I wanna get into the bios I have to restart the system.
I'm really thinking about trying to reflash my vBios.
but I have no idea how to do this for g73jw, I only found this official guide for G73JH

First you need to get a copy of the .rom file (the actual VBIOS file) for your model.
Use a FAT 32 formatted USB drive
Since there is no utiliy in the BIOS to flash the VBIOS you need to load DOS from the USB drive, the run a bat file the has the proper command
The only difference from the instructions will be the .rom file and the line in the .bat file will have to call the name if the .rom file I mentioned first.
If you need more details let know,

    Hey everyone!!
I just wanted to update that I think I solved the problem!
I disassembled the whole laptop, removed all the 4 ram sticks, HHD, screen cabels from the mobo, after I cleaned everything with an air can I assembled the lappy (I'v put the ram sticks randomly, the one which was beneath the keyboard is now on top).

Already 3 days with 4~5 cold boots each day and I didn't experience any "white screen" boot. I hope it stays this way! :D

Thanks everyone for thier help!! :)
