I have a new Motorola S305 Headset that I'd love to pair with my laptop. The headset pairs with my iPhone just fine, however it doesn't see my headset at all. I'm also able to pair my iPhone with my laptop without issue.

Has anybody come accross this or anything similar?

The Bluetooth needs to be made discoverable before pairing.

Believe it or not, such a simple statement got me thinking again about this. I remembered that the headset was paired with my PS3 and phone already... and it will not go into discovery mode unless it doesn't see a device it knows already. I had BT off on my phone, but completely forgot that it was paired with the PS3. As soon as I removed the device from the PS3 (it was powered on the while I've been trying to pair), I was able to pair it.

    Such a simple thing... thanks!
