    I have been going through many of the posts already available and tried a number of the steps but have just gotten a tad overwhelmed and at a bit of a loss on what to do now.

    Initially was having issues running Deus Ex: Human Revolution, but after updating the bios to 213, and following a guide on updating CCC and the video drivers it started to work reasonably well (not nearly as well as some people were reporting but well enough to play through so I just went with it). I was running Furmark at about midlevel settings (1280x720, MSAAx2) and getting to about 80C.
    Out of the blue (about 10 days after my updating) I am getting the Grey Lines or just Black Screen in games, and a solid orange or blue colour screen when running Furmark for about 10 seconds, leading to a crash.

    Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated. I don't think I have updated the vBios, though am not sure where to check which version I currently have.

    Info from the CCC;
    Driver Packaging Version: 8.753-100706m-102501C-ATI
    Catalyst Version: 10.7
    2D Driver Version: 8.01.01.1047
    Direct3D Version: 8.14.10.0768
    OpenGL Version: 6.14.10.10061
    CCC Version: 2011.1025.2231.38573

    Thanks for the info. Updated the VBios using the V93BIOSa. Been running Furmark with basic settings for about 20 min, running at 90C and 16fps. Seems a bit hot but isn't crashing at least.

    90C in furmark is slightly hot, but nothing to worry about, your laptop probably only needs a good dusting, glad your GSOD days are over ;).
