    Why it's not working? It should be playable on low.

    @danielpsk
    Please share some more details about what exactly isn't working. Also state the game setting you use.

    Ah ok, that sounds like a completely different problem. Actually you have to start the game on the webpage which loads up. Which browser do you have as default?
    And do you have any Extensions or Addins loaded that block something?

    Even when you do get it working, BF4 will be extremely tough on the G73JH. Back when I had this laptop, I had run BF3 at 720p Low to get 60 FPS or higher at all times. That was with the 5870 overclocked to 825/1075. Anything less than 60 FPS and you'll always be at a disadvantage in a competitive multiplayer game compared to someone else who is getting 60 FPS or more. BF4 is a lot more demanding than BF3.

    I don't have the game, but Beta ran quite well. I was getting about 60 FPS at 1080p mostly Medium settings, some High some Low, with AA and AO off. Retail should run better due to improved optimization.

    bf4 seems to be fairly well optimised so should run on most devices if you are willing to scale the settings back.

    Sorry to bump an oldish thread, but I'm also having a really hard time getting Battlefield 4 to start on my G73JH. I'm running the latest video divers, latest BIOS and latest GPU firmware. The game simply does not launch. The blue "initializing" bar appears at the bottom of the screen and then nothing happens. Has anyone ever gotten BF4 to work on a G73? From the small amount of info I've found, it seems the answer is no. Anyone have any ideas?

    Running smooth here on my G73Jh, play it nearly every day.
    Your issue sounds like an antivirus making problem, or the bf4 browser plugin. Could you try to start in in a different browser? (just open the same URL in the alternative browser)
    Using 13.30 beta AMD drivers as the 13.11 beta 9.3 (or 9.5) had a memory leak with bf4.

    It opens up a separate window usually and does not always maximise it, have you looked out for the icon on the task bar?
