    Hey all

Just got off of a long flight with a G73 and now the screen is blue. Like broken lines bad video card looking blue.

    BUT BUT!!

The area above the keyboard, the same bar that houses the power button and the turbo button and stuff (so then the laptop is open, directly below the asus logo on the actual LCD)

When I push down on that, it fixes it....

Are there video connections in there that maybe came lose? Anyone know if maybe something came lose? I hope the board isnt actually warped or anything :(

Anyone hear of this or have any suggestions?

ps - I already repasted the thing so im no stranger to opening it up.

    Thanks!

You should be able to find the LVDS cable on ebay or maybe on a laptop parts store, but ASUS won't sell them to you directly. If you bought from a small reseller (not a big box retailer) you may be able to get them to order the part for you.

In any case there will be a sticker on the cable that has the part number, but a search for g73jh lvds or video cable should turn up some options. Be really careful with the connector on the motherboard side, the pins are very fragile.
