Hi all! I apologize first of all if i'm posting in the wrong forum, i skimmed the stickies and couldnt find the answer i'm looking for.

I own an ASUS G73S, and I was wondering what the difference is with an ASUS G73SW?

I was also thinking of upgrading my hard drive to a solid state, would it be better/possible to buy that hard drive holder and add it in? Or should I just replace it? I currently have one that is partitioned to C and D, and was wondering if I wanted to replace it if I could just buy the standard sized 2.5 and replace it/add it in. Thanks for your help guys :)

G73S and SW are the same model since the only three G73 models are the Jh, Jw ans Sw. You will need a new caddy if you want both drives, otherwise you can just do the swap, reinstall Windows and your stuff and you're all set.

Yep, 2.5" install the same way as normal mechanical hard drives, so you can treat them in the same way when installing them.
