    G73SW/JH or G74SX or ???

    Howdy Guys,

    very nice forum u got. Iam not native English so please be kind with any grammaticaly abuse :)

    Iam for about 1 month now on a journey for the right notebook.Iam looking for a Notebook with decent gaming power without abusing my ears and the ears of my gf with fan noise.

    Looks like there is only Asus with the RoG Series...

    Situation:
    I can get at german amazon the G73SW or JH for about 800-999 €. The G74SX is about 1700-1900€.
    I've red nearly all product test on notebookcheck.com and else. All significant changes i can see is the GTX 560M vs 460m /HD 5870. And the possible awsm 3D display.

    My question is, are the additional 700 bugs really worth it?, i could also buy a nice SSD for the g73 and still be at a lower price.

    In the video benchmarks the 560m is only about 10% faster then the other ones.

    How would you decide? Which one to buy here? Any other options than Asus for a quite gaming experience?

    I'd get the G73S with a gtx460m and overclock it to gtx560m clocks and buy a good ssd and call it a day. And Mebbe buy a laptop cooler just for fun even though it isn't all the necessary. :)

    I considered that aswell. But i really don't like the temperatures inside and outside. I will mainly use it on my lap/knees with a notebook underlay pad(don't know the english descr.)

    If you're from germany , buy it on another european website ! ( i talk about G74 )

    I know france is far from being the lowest price , but i got mine 3 months ago for about 1350€ , far from your 1700-1900
