I have just installed a Vertex 3 120gb SSD in my ASUS g73SW labtop... every time i turn of my computer the SSD drive is lost... i cannot see the SSD in the bios.
If i change the controller option in hte bios from AHCI to IDE or the other way around the SSD is discovered and works like a charm untill the system is powered off... its an annoying start ritual that i would be grateful for some help with...

Oh. My G73jh had the same problem as your G73 before.
What I have done is: swap the SSD to the middle drive bay. hope this will work for you too.

If Matrix_XII's solution does not work I would try updating the firmware:
    OCZ Technology
    Hope this helps Josea
