Hey guys, I´ve got painful issue with my G73.. I tried to power it on, but screen wasnt going to work. Everything is working as usuall.. I hear ASUS screen sound when BIOS is starting up, keyboard light is working, windows will start up (hear the sound), but screen is dead :(.. I´m now on external monitor. So I wanna ask, where is screen cable (I guess thats the option, cause VGA is working - I guess that cable could disconnect itself when I was travelling with ntb in backpack), if it is available to me when disassembly.. I dont wanna spent 1 month without ntb on RMA just because stupid cable.. :( So any advices?.. I´ll really appreciate it!

Edit: If I choose my solution, disassemble and take a look to LCD cable, would I lose the warranty? (I would try to not-tear that 2 yellow stick under the keyboard..)

most likely ribbon to the to the screen. I had to RMA mine due to a GPU issue, but my screen has never been an issue. I don't think that the tear done voids warranty, but if something that is broke need replacing they might try to say it was your fault. At least call the RMA number and make sure they cant walk you through something that might fix it. Mine was gone for three weeks on RMA.

Blow up an EMP anytime recently? I'd say for a screen issue you'll probably have to call in the warranty unfortunately.
