    G73SW problems with GTX 460M

    Hi, first sorry for my english, im from Mexico.

    I have a problema with the video card, i tried to repaste the videocard but when i plug all again the g73sw turn on but nothing happen, nothing in the screen appear.

    Someone can told me where i need termal pad and where i need termal paste. I post the screen of my videocard.

    Show us the heatsink too. Did you work with an anti static wrist band or in a static free environment?

    What did you use to replace the thermal paste?

    Even if you dont put the thermal pads on properly it should still work, you should remove it and put it back in to make sure its seated properly But of course you'll want to make sure you have all the proper thermal protection in place before you call it good. Point is, the thermal paste/pads probably isnt the reason its not working.

    Agreed. I'm saying something besides the thermal compound placement is probably causing the problem.

    It could easily be a bad card too.
