The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    G73SW-BST6 DVD Problems

    I tried searching this out myself via search, but didn't really see anything in the threads relating to my version of the G73 and my problem. If there is one if one could kindy link me in the right direction.

    My DVD/CD does not seem to be functioning. Device Manager shows an error stating "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)" for MATA DVD-RAM UJ8A0ASW. Any of you have any recommendations? Thanks.
