    Hey, guys,

I just wanna know something. What exactly happens if my notebook has the Cougar Point SATA ports bug?

I'm considering buying one that doesn't have the "new revision" stickers, and I have no other options, at least not for Asus. Plus, I wouldn't be able to replace the affected items once I got the computer in hands. So I really really need to know:
    Can I avoid this bug?
What happens progressively with the voltage leak, the performance goes down?
And what happens if the affected ports fail, the computer just turns unusable?

    Thanks in advance.

Only the ODD port is affected.
