Hi, this is my first post on the forum, so hello.

I am a proud new owner of a G73jh. I have a possible problem with my display.

When I "adjust" the display, I notice in the lower right, slightly off-center portion, a "dime" sized ripple occurs.

This is a ripple similarily to how it is when you push down on the screen.

I've never pushed down on the screen in that location, or any other.

I have googled similar LCD issues and I've heard that it's rather common, but I wanted to make sure.

    Does anyone else experience this?

it is "normal" when you move the screen for the display to "ripple".

Just to make sure we're on the same page, it's a 'ripple" like if you press it with your finger, but only in one spot, when I move the display forward or backward, to adjust it.

More or less that's probably just your lid pushing up against your screen at that certain point, just like if a finger were pushing against it. I've had that happen to me on a couple laptops, and most users will probably mention they've seen the same thing happen before :)

It is normal, like BTO mentioned above. :)

while it may be normal it also may be an indication of a loose hinge though i have not seen loose hinges yet on g73 and likely will not.
