    My G73 beeps in a very annoying way when Im idle, giving me an headache. Putting on a movie or starting a game stops it though. Seems to only be like this on battery power. Any fixes for this yet?

    that's a new one. perhaps you have a monitor program that is warning you.

    I also can't watch movies with it, because every second the harddrive lamp flashes, and every time this happens the sound in the movie stops. So the audio is choppy.
