Ok, so I have the bestbuy jh model (with the 1600x900) and my Dvd drive, not blu-ray, has stopped reading any media. I've tried to reinstall drivers, and I've tried to clean the drive, so I'm 99% it's completely dead.
However, I'm a bit lost as to where I can buy a replacement drive, and what kinds my laptop accepts.
Also, I don't necessarily want a blu-ray player, but Depending on price I might as well upgrade.
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

As a quick note, I've looked up a few drives on Newegg, tigerdirect, and amazon. Amazon had the best variety and prices, so I'm listing those.

Are any/all of these compatible? -
Just as an update, I looked around and pretty much determined I can use any of those, especially after I found a few teardown videos.
Sorry for the forum spam, I promise I did look for another related topic, but couldn't find concrete answers!
