    This is a crazy one.

When on battery and ONLY when on battery. Sometimes when watching a video online or locally using ANY player or ANY browser the video will get all pixelated and crash the machine to where I have to hard reset it.

    On ac power no issues.

This thing is ROCK solid otherwise. Low temps, all the latest drivers and bios's

The vbios is the one that allows overdrive and lowers the gpu clocks when on battery.

    Could that be the issue??

    Thanks all!

wow this is new to me....that is crappy. I have noticed more stupid things wrong with ASUS laptops then most other companies. I'll have to keep this noted for future references for friends.

its not that its freezing, the video just starts stuttering and then just freaks out and dies.

Im thinking it might have something to do with the modded vbios. Just wondering if anyone has seen this issue.
