    G73jh randomly crashes and freezes every 15-20 mins, started today

    Hi so, i have the ati driver from the asus website for this laptop, g73jh, i have bio 213, everything was working fine up until now, all of a sudden today at 7pm EST my laptop started just Freezing still every 15-20 minutes its been doing this all evening now i have no idea what the cause is im only browsing the internet, not even gaming, its not overheating the temp is fine - i just cleaned the laptop recently too so i have no idea what's going on.


    i tried googling the problem, others seem to have it but its just threads with people stating the problem no one is actually giving any info or tips.

    You're certain it's not the temps? Kind of sounds like it.

    Maybe a failing power supply or battery then? Try it with the power cord plugged in with no battery and also vice-versa.

    What software did you use to check the temperatures? It sure sounds heat related and the more you let it run then shut down it's going to damage your system. Have you ever taken it apart and cleaned out the fans/heatsinks? Maybe repaste it while your in there.

    i tried some of the advice from previous posts i found on other forums

    i uninstalled power4gear and i uninstalled the realtek sound driver and got a new one and it seems to have worked, i haven't had a crash in over 12 hours since then.

    Did you still have the creative audio software installed by any chance?
