I'd say i took a break from pc gamming for awhile, until recently when the witcher 2 came out. I have yet to accually get to gameplay without my notebook completely shutting down. I tried to then play mass effect and star craft 2 and the same thing happened. I upgradeing the bios and still shuts down. Anyone have any idea as to what i can do? i really dont want to have to send it in.

Download HWiNFO32 and check your temperatures. Sounds like the laptop is shutting down due to overheating.

And if you have a JH, update your vBIOS.

I have the G73jh and I was experiencing the system shutdown problems after the latest witcher 2 update. I flashed my computer bios up to 213 and updated my vbios so I could use the latest catalyst drivers and everything is running smooth since.
