Hi I have a question about updating to the latest bios. I'm currently still running on the old bios (from 2009) that came with my G73JH and the very old driver as well. I've really wanted to update the bios since I can't update the drivers without doing so but I haven't had any bsod or any problems whatsoever. Other than being on an ancient video driver of course. This might be a dumb question but I'm just wondering how much of a performance increase would I see updated to the latest video driver/bios. Recently played the diablo 3 beta and it didn't run as well as I hoped so I'm really looking at doing this whole bios deal. I'm just not sure if it would be worth it for me since all is running well besides some mediocre frame rate problems. Thanks for any input on my problem.

It's worth it to get it done. Temps will be a little less. Do it via this method :

    1. Format a USB drive to FAT32 format.
    2. Download the new BIOS and unzip it to the USB drive.
    3. Remove USB drive after you're certain the file transfer is complete.
    4. Restart your notebook and while the ASUS logo is on the screen press F2 or del a few times to enter the BIOS setup.
    5. Find the Easy Flash Utility and insert the USB drive. Tell Easy flash where your BIOS file is then follow directions explicitely!!!
    6. When your notebook restarts, enter the BIOS Setup utility again and select "Load Optimized Defaults" (I think it's f9 )
    7. Save and Exit, then continue into Windows.
