    hey guys...

so the other day i decided to reinstall windows on my machine.

was having a lot of weird issues with world of warcraft and i wanted Win7 Ultimate.

so i got windows installed, all my drivers in.

tonight i'm trying to watch a blu-ray, i installed PowerDVD 10 Ultra and i get an error "there is an unsupported disc in drive E: " (E: is the correct letter for my BD-ROM)

before the reinstall, it worked perfectly with PowerDVD 10 Ultra (i tried movies i KNOW work, the drive is clean/working properly)

i finally got it to work with the WinDVD8 that is available on Asus's website but even that isn't perfect, when moving the app between two monitors it will crash more often than not (wasn't a problem before the reinstall with PowerDVD 10) also, the winDVD 8 that is on asus's website keeps telling me that my "AAC5 keys are out of date, click here to update" i let it "update" and sometimes it says it completed and sometimes it just hangs there.

i have no idea if i'm missing a driver, or a codec, or some sort of security key that i need.

i'm not a fan of any of these stupid DVD/Blu-Ray players, i have found that they are all crap for the PC (powerDVD 10 seems to be the lesser of the evil's)

anyway if anyone has any idea's it would be greatly appreciated. i have never wanted to throw an expensive piece of electronic equipment so bad in my life. something as simple as watching a movie shouldn't be so difficult.

Patch up your PowerDVD 10 Ultra.
