    G73jh-a series display 70hz support

    I just noticed that according to everest the display in our g73's, the Hannstar HSD173PUW1 supports 70hz refress rates at fullHD res. However i cant find a way to set it to 70hz, windows as well as CCC shows only the 60hz option.

    Is there any way to get it to run at 70hz?

    Also, are there any display specific colour profiles available for this model?

    I just looked mine over. It looks like we would need a monitor definition (inf) file to make that work. Windows is assuming generic LCD and not offering any frequencies except 60Hz.

    created a custom inf with powerstrip, entered the refresh rate range detected by everest and installed that, no effect...
    i think it has to somehow be edited in the ati drivers too

    Nope 70hz at lower resolution ^^ like on all lcd
    certainly just a glitch
