I tried searching the forums and found that in my G73SW I could put 16gb of ram in there but I could not find if i am able to put 2x8gb sticks in. I know there are four slots for 4x4gb but I really do not want to risk taking apart my laptop to access the back 2 slots, I know I would mess something up :(.

You can in the G73JH but I'm not completely sure about your model. Is there a reason you need 32GB?

Yeah all the threads i found come up with the JH but it looks like all the slots are on the bottom of the mobo unlike the SW.

Im not putting in 32gb, just 16gb. def no need for 32. But I want to try a new program that actually partitions your ram. it had excellent reviews and blows away ssd r/w speeds.

The JH has 3 slots on one side of the mobo, one on the other, still one pain in the rear to upgrade to 4x4.

thats why I want to see if I can just put 2, 8 gb sticks. Avoid the back slots all if possible

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work.
