Hey guys! Need some advice here. So my asus been crashing whenever i play games. Been hitting on dmc and it crashes halfway. Screen just freezes and goes black after awhile. When i restart is states it was a bosd. Tried with couple of games and it happens too. Same thing happens when i run the furmark. Playing dotas rarely crashes it but it still happens. Bought a can of aire blower and tried that too. No effect. Would my next course of action be a factory reset or should i send it in for warranty?

Temps as of right now with no games running is at 49C ish.

    Thanks.

Take a look at frequent crashing of my g74sx has recently started happening... - Page 5 for recommendations to troubleshoot your BSOD/Lockup issues.

For starters, if this was a recent issue, try Windows System Restore to see if that will resolve the problem.

If not, move on to run BlueScreenView to gather information about the BSOD's.

Your reported Idle temperature is not that high, but I recommend configuring your utilily to log temperatures, so you can find out the maximum just before a freeze.

It never hurts to confirm your SSD or HDD is healthy and file system and memory are sound.
