I'd like to make sure if there is something wrong with my machine that I should take care of soon... This issue has nothing to do with the random flickering that users reported when they change their power settings.

The 'error' occurs when I push a little bit more than one hand would weigh on the upper case on the right side (that is: from the HDMI port over the USB 3.0 to the area right of the touchpad). The screen will start to flicker and by using more force it will go black. Removing the force it will eventually come back or stay black. Sometimes I can fix it by closing and reopening the lid. But I also had to hard-reboot the machine to fix it.

It's not a big problem as I normally don't apply such forces to the case, but it happens from time to time when I move the laptop.

So my question would be if anyone has made similar observations?

I haven't seen anything like that commonly with these machines. It could be as simple as a loose or too tight connection but it doesn't sound like there is something wrong with the hardware itself. If it is only happening when you apply that pressure I would let it be for now, but if it does start to become an issue you will likely want to contact your reseller about an RMA.
