I know i am comparing apples to oranges in terms of screen size (dv6- 15" and G74- 17") ..but herezz my dilemma...i need to purchase the laptop via bestbuy since i get a 18 month financing....so nope...i cant go for any other machine...

The dv6 i ordered is given in my signature...but the only worry i have is with the dv6- switching graphics....which seems to be a major bug as of now and has a 100 page thread running....on nbr...my only other option is the asus g74 (since am only looking at i7) ....quick questions.....do you think the g74 ...is gonna be really big....since i do intend to move it around a bit...or are you guys...carrying it...around...i have used a hp dv7t - so i know how it feels to have a 17inch laptop...its annnoying to carry....but the big screen size for movies and gaming..makes it up ;) ....so what do you guys think...which machine should i opt for....
also i heard that the best buy version is gimped ie the graphic card is 128 bit...how much would that affect me...am not a avid gamer.......i mostly play on my ps3....but i do like my laptop to give me gaming capabilities.........also the only other downside i see is the 1600*900 screen...as compared to the 1080p on the HP....guys....please suggest..............since ill have to cancel my order today itself..if i decide to go for the g74 ( http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Asus+-+Laptop+/+Intel%26%23174%3B+Core%26%23153%3B+i7+Processor+/+17.3%22+Display+/+8GB+Memory+/+1TB+Hard+Drive/2712579.p?id=1218346639131&skuId=2712579&st=asus%20i7&cp=1&lp=1)

Honestly, it comes down to price. The G74 is the logical successor to the G73, and comes with a very competitive price point. If the G73 is any example, I move mine daily from home to work, and have been for the last year, with no issues. It handles gaming well (these forums are a good place to start regarding games you play). The G74 should be fine, even if it is the watered down BB version.

Just so you know you can prolly get 12 months 0% on Newegg if you wanted. Much better selection.
