This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     G74 again -- power plan options keep resetting.

    My power plan options on my G74 are set to a custom "balanced" mode. However, I have noticed that they keep resetting to High Performance occasionally. This is highly inconvenient as I have set the close lid action to "do nothing" in balanced, whilst in High Performance it is "go to sleep mode"..

    Should I just modify my High Performance settings? Egads man, think of the children. There must be another way!
