    Looking to install a 120 GB SSD in my G74SX-A1 that already has 2 HDDs. Appears that some come preconfig with 2 HDD plus a SSD, but not finding any tech docs showing what's beneath the 2 HDD slots. Suggestions? Thx

    You have two choices:

    1. To remove one of the HDD and replace it with SSD

    OR

    2. To remove the DVD and install a HDD caddy and then you have three slots for HDD, thus allowing you to install SSD.
