I'm shopping around for a new computer and I've always looked at ASUS and Toshiba as the best of the best in terms of reliability.
I am curious to know just how worth it the new G74 is, I understand that the GTX560M isn't quite the "premium" compared to the 580M and will be dwarfed by the 6990M, but something tells me that card will tack on a good 600+ dollars to any configuration so I'm not too worried about that.
In terms of value, though, just how worth it is the new G74SX-A1?
Note: I looked at the best buy model and saw a number of complaints about the 128 bit card which immediately turned me off to it. I've been reading it performs about the same as a normal GTX460M.

I'm using the 3DE edition of one right now, and I must say I do enjoy the new keyboard layout. Plus it has a newer touchpad, so the touchpad crazyness is a non-issue. I think the A2 is the better choice, since it has a SSD + HDD config. I am getting addicted to the 3D here.
I plan to do some OC benching when I get back to NY. -
