Good morning. Yesterday I finished my installation of Ubuntu on my Asus G74Sx and now I can not get the external monitor to display. I've tried within Ubuntu with no luck and even FN+F8 with no luck. Has anyone been able to hook an external monitor (VGA) up to this notebook running Ubuntu? Thanks much ..

Have you tried using the display system settings applet under the session menu (all the way at the top right with your username) or system->preferences for fallback mode/older releases.
