    Hello all.

Since yesterday i am facing a strange problem and i need your help.
Before 4 days i have made a new windows 7 installation on a ssd drive. All works perfect since then, no bsod screens, no errors, everything ok.

Yesterday i have tried to turn on my laptop, the asus logo shown up but then black screen, it doesnt show the starting windows screen, the screen is not completely off but it just black.
After i turn of and turn on my laptop everythink is ok, started up normally.

Today the things are worse, i have the same problem, but when i press the button to turn off, and then on my laptop again it stays in the black screen.

I have tried several times, with or wihout the battery but no luck. After about 15 tries , i just press the button and it started up normally.

I need your help guys for this strange problem.

    Thanks in advance

Sounds like unfortunately you got a bad SSD. I had a similar issue with a Momentus XT hybrid drive where the SSD portion failed and the system wouldn't boot at all. Similar issue, just black screen.

Sounds like the drive is bad to me, but you might want to try to boot the Windows 7 install CD again and see if you can partition/format and install again. I'm willing to bet the drive won't be responsive enough to install on though if that's your problem.
