    How do I fix them?

I've tried updating the drivers, but they didn't allow the nvidia website's drivers to install, instead telling me to get updates from the manufacturer. I tried asus' website and the the live update program, but both of them only had the old drivers which shipped with my notebook. to be specific on the version, it's the 268.37 drivers.

Also, although the crashes are minor, only affecting my system for a few seconds before resuming what they were doing, it is annoying as hell, and it ruins any immersion I might get. Also, these small crashes happen very frequently, like 1 or more times per short session.

    Please help.

Chastity has the latest drivers on her page for Nvidia and people have been singing their praises for how well they run:

    [JW/SW/SX] Nvidia Notebook Drivers 280.26 WHQL (08/10/11)

Try installing them but it sounds as though your display driver is stopping responding and this can happen if you overclock is too high so you might need to adjust it and do some more testing with Furmark to find more stable clocks, but then again some games can cause this to happen I find that for some reason World of Tanks is the only game that does not like my clocks running at max.

Try the drivers first though they might sort things out for you. Do a clean wipe using drive sweeper or similiar to clean install all of the files.
