    Hello guys,

I was wondering if BOTH of the hard drives in the G74SX are upgradable.
    I was looking at getting a 750gb HDD and a 240gb SDD.
If anyone can answer this it would be appreciated.

Yep - that's one of the good things about the G74SX - both drive bays are easily accessible and capable of SATA 3 speeds. You can slap any 2.5 inch SATA SSD, Hybrid HDD, or faster/larger capacity HDD that suits your fancy or pocketbook in there.

Your choice of a 240 GB SSD for speed and a 750 GB for storage is a good one.

Yes a Sata 3 SSD + HDD combination is awesome. Have a 120 GB SSD + 750GB HDD myself and have to say that it is a really good combination for any kind of laptop that supports two hard drives (even if laptop supports RAID, in modern age of super fast SSD's I think it's a big mistake, unless u need mirror)
