    hi !
It's the same G750JH with the 780M replaced by the (kind of) new GTX 880M.

lol worse video ever, there are a few better ones out . ^^

I think this might be my next laptop, being as for some reason in France it is waaaay cheaper than a similarly configed Clevo or MSI .

It was always going to happen since it's the same chip.

It's an identical notebook with slightly denser vram chips and overclocked GPU core.

I heard somewhere on the rog forums saying the 880 is going to be a soldered GPU and its clock is going to be equivalent to the 780 overclocked. Using 2TB+512GB SSD and a gpu with 8 gb of ram along with 32gb of ram this thing is going to be epic :)

That 8 GB of vRAM is worthless: it's complete overkill for 1080p and only useful at 3k resolutions. Yet a single 880M is probably too weak to handle 3k gaming if you plan on connecting to an external LCD. My opinion is if you don't absolutely have to have a new laptop now, wait for the "real" Maxwell GPUs to be released and upgrade.

Since we now know the 880M is just a rebranded 780M with higher clocks it will be a small boost in performance at best.
Well maybe now you can get one with a 780M cheaper once they start clearing stock.

Possibly, certainly no benefit in the 880m itself due to the 110w limit imposed on both.
