    Good morning all,

    i'd like to share my strange situation/problems with my laptop: G750JX, 32GB mem, 1 ssd 120gb, 2 sata750gb-7200rpm.

I bought this pc at the end of august and have frequently BSOD caused by different drivers ( USB xHCI, nvidia, NTOSNERNEL, ect..)

    I made different test:

1 reinstall the system W8 oem, no way same problem.
2 install W8.1, no way same problemes.
3 Install Win 8.1 Pro evalution copy, no way same problem.

4 installed W7 PRO and did'nt see any bsod
5 Reinstalled W8, problem come back again (lot of bsod)
6 With W8.1 oem i removed 16gb and then no more bsod.
7 I installed the 3th mem (24gb) and then problem back again
8 I removed the 3th mem and installed the 4th mem and problem back come again.

9 Run WIndows Memtest and no problem found
10 Run Prime95 software test for 2 hours and no problem found.

11 Bios successfully updated to the last version (28)

I'd like to remember: no problem with W7 during 2 weeks and 32GB installed.
So my question is: my 2 mem stick (2x 8gb) are wrong? or is there anything wrong with W8 memory management?

May you please help understand what's excatly wrong?

    hi.

i just found this thread and wanted to mention that maybe i have this exact same problem. my notebook is a G750JH (very similar one) and as soon as i i removed the upgraded ram from my notebook the bsods disappeared. i did check my memory with the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool (7 passes, extended mode) and it reported "no errors".

salento9, did you manage to fix this problem?

It could be the imc struggling or the memory under certain circumstances. Put sticks 3 and 4 in to spaces 1 and 2 and see if you still get errors.

yes, i have bought DDR3L memory with 1,35V (kingston)

i tried what Meaker suggested and got the 2x4 GB factory ram out of the slots 1&2 and put my bought 2x8 GB ram into them. then i tested the system for 24 hours and no bsods happened. so i decided to try some more ram and put one of the 4GB factory ram sticks into slot 4. within 5 minutes after booting my system crashed with bsod. so i took that same factory stick out and put it into slot 3. this helped and my system did not crash anymore. at this this time i thought that the error must be coming from the 4th slot but decided to still continue with some testing. so i took the 2nd factory ram stick and put it into into slot 4, so now all my ram was inserted. to my surprise no bsods appeared until now. so now i am thinking what could have caused them? i am a bit confused by this :D - but happy because no bsods anymore :)

with factory sticks in slots 1&2 and bought sticks in slots 3&4 my system often crashed, as well as with bought sticks in slot 1&2 and one factory stick in slot 4.
with bought sticks in solt 1&2 my system did not crash, as well as with bought sticks in solt 1&2 and factory sticks in slot 3&4.

maybe the order from "high amount of ram to less amount of ram" makes a difference?

Is the RAM that you've bought has more aggressive timing than the factory ones?

Even so it should use the spd set of the loosest timing module. It could be that the stick was not quite in right.
