After searching these forums for a M.2 bracket for my G751JY-DB73X G-Sync I actually made a 3d printed M.2 bracket myself. Well i made 13 versions before i perfected them but they are on shapeways if anyone still needs one. I have 4 versions available, most versions have an open top for heatsinks and all versions leave enough room for the Samsung 850 EVO 250gb to fit naked (with the cover removed) in the same bay 1. 2 of the versions leave enough room for a second ssd larger than the 850 evo 250gb to fit under the m.2 though i recommend sticking with just the m.2 drive in bay 1. With heatsinks attached i got an average 7 degree drop in crystaldiskmark with the SM951 and 11 degrees with the stock XP941 which is a lot more then i expected. I have used 19x19x5mm and 14x14x4mm heatsinks either will fit but i recommend the 4mm height to avoid contact with the bottom cover and even a 20x20mm would fit if the height was less than 5mm. I have also posted this on the Asus ROG forums here- https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthre...-G751-s-M-2-bracket-3d-printed-and-heatsinked
and several people have tested them with great results. I just want to help people out so if you need any modifications or anything else 3d designed please let me know.
