What kind of install is it (upgrade or clean) and what drivers are you running?

Every driver, Windows Update etc. are up-to-date. I'd like to hear something from other rare G751JY users...
Also Driver Booster 2 reports everything is up-to-date.

It's a model we sell and have in stock, but I wish you the best of luck regardless.

I would advise against relying on 3rd party driver applications though.

Solved. Re-flashed the same (= theoretically identical, binary-comparison tested with the one already on) BIOS 208 forcing a WinFlash /nodate as suggested by other users experiencing the same strange issue, and it worked. Don't ask me why, logic fails here considering I already tried to restore "Default BIOS settings" from within the BIOS and never touched critical areas...

About 3rd party driver tools I agree and have always been very skeptical (I don't even use potentially harmful useless registry cleaners like CCleaner, go figure...), but if I have to suggest one it will be Driver Booster 2 (selecting only WHQL drivers).
