Basically my G75VW came with Windows 7 installed, I removed that drive and put a 750gb 7200 rpm drive in it and installed windows 8, well when checking if its secure boot it comes back false.

Is there any way to correct this without putting the other drive in or reinstalling?

It would have to be installed in UEFI mode and I don't think the G75 supports that.
