    Hi all,

    Simple enough: Does the new G75 support Optimus? I've found conflicting reports on this, and at the moment, this is the one thing stopping me from ordering one.

    Can anyone that owns one confirm this either way?

    If you look at this site GenTech PC - Systems the only G75 model that touts optimus is Asus G75VW-DS71 NV GTX660M
    I would suggest contacting Ken Lee through the aforementioned site to confirm.
    Have you considered this model BTW GenTech PC - Sager NP9170 (Clevo P170EM) w/nVidia GTX670M/675M ?

    I'll contact someone at GenTech to confirm. The laptop you mentioned only mentions Optimus in reference to the 660M GPU (could easily be a copy/paste from something else) and not in the laptop specs itself.

    I've looked at other laptops, including that Clevo, but I'd like a bigger battery. Though I'm getting a fairly bulky 17" machine, battery life is still pretty important to me.

    According to users on this site; who have possession of both 660m and 670m variants of the G75VW -- optimus is not enabled at all.
