    Ok, I'm looking into the G75VX and I understand that its default setup is an 8GB SSD with a 750GB HDD on a 0/1 RAID configuration. Anyway, if I get this thing, I plan on reformatting it to Windows 7 from the get go and putting a 1TB Sata II drive in the slot the SSD is in after disabling the RAID.

    Is this doable or even advisable? Are there any risks involved in doing this?
