    Hey All,

I am wondering if there are any G75VW owners out there playing GW2? I am curious to see what FPS you are getting specifically with the 670m and the 1080p screen. I have seen some tests on notebookcheck, but I am not satisfied with how they did it. I would like to see something with native sampling, shadows on med and the rest on high.

    Thank you

Well the game is great and runs very well on my M17x, but I am thinking of getting a G75VW for my brother. I just want to make sure it will play well on it first.

It will run perfectly fine and notebookcheck probably has them quite near to how it would perform at stock with max settings on that particular model so 1080p High-Ultra.

It will face the same issues as every new game and will need patching so performance may not be as good as it will be in a few months time.

A mobility 5870 does pretty well at low shadows, native sampling and no AA. As such, the 670m should be enough to crank the shadows at med and have AA while maintaining a framerate of 30+ fps.

MY mate just got this laptop, what a beast!!!
Bang for buck it's pretty decent.
GW at mid/high should run fine.
Shadows is what really kills performance.

Shadows mid and everything high without AA runs at around 35-45FPS in PvE on my GTX 660M equipped laptop, so the GTX 670M will probably have no issues on these settings in WvWvW either.
