What are the safe temps for my GPU. I have the GTX460M. It's overclocked to 800/1600/1600 and while playing Bad Company 2 it maxes out at 85c but thats the highest I've ever seen it. When should I start worrying?

    Your okay.
Whats the temps in regular games like mw2 or BO?
If the temps are as high as playing BF then thats a problem.
but if the highest is 85 your fine, but i would recommend re-pasting the gpu and cpu with icd7. The temps probably wont break 70.
Or if your not good at that kind of stuff simply buy a cooling pad off newegg.
    Easy, cheap, great

I was planning on buying a cooling pad on payday. My temps when running average games are around 68c. How exactly do you re-paste your GPU?

    What model do you have?
ill link you to a disassemble video.
And you clean it off with some rubbing alcohol and but a little dab(3-4mm) in the center of the die then put the heat sink back on and put about 50 pounds of pressure so all the air can come out. and put it back together and be amazed :)
