I have been reading through some threads on GSOD to think of what to do, but I do find my situation a little more unique and odd, I only get GSOD when watching youtube or other internet based players. Granted, for someone that watches streaming video everyday, this only occurs about once or twice a week. Whats strange is I'm not getting GSOD on games, and I've beaten Dragon Age: Origins and Awakening on this laptop, play marathon sessions of TF2 and League of Legends, and various emulators.

Any suggestions for something that may be unique to video players such as plug-ins?

    1) I would first try updating your Flash component from Adobe.

    2) Update to latest DirectX.

    3) Update to Asus' 10.1

flash was updated and it still didn't work. I have DirectX 11, how can I check if theres a superior version to 11 than what I got? And is there a way to update it without uninstalling the previous directX and installing a new one? I'm still kind of anxious to switch to Asus 10.1 and could never find it on their web page. Where does Asus show new video drivers? I think I found the very stock ones that I'm using.

All and all, its going to take a few days for this to show up again, and I'm glad its a rather rare occurrence. It just still kinda annoys me because this PC is 3 months old and most of my PCs I've built usually don't have problems till they're a year or 2 old.

Try this as a work around, right click on the flash player when viewing, go to settings and disable hardware acceleration.
