Need some guidance in getting the right plug. Just got a new monitor to support 2560x1440 at 144Hz. Have the GX501 with USB type C over thunderbolt and just need to know what adapter from Displayport to USB C will support what I'm looking for. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

look for a passive usb-c to displayport adapter. Not active.
passive adapter carries the dp signal without conversion.

The one I used before was the Cellet usbc dp adapter. and it supports 4k 60hz
It's the cheapest one on walmart.com right now.
