So recently i have been having the a problem with my games closing, reopening and being laggy as hell.
i will play a game for awhile maybe 30min-1hour and it will close reopen and the fps will be cut in half AT LEAST. i think its something to do with kernal memory? or something, this is what sc2 said at least:
Kernal paged memory ran out so we lowered graphic detail etc.
Its not my page file so lets get that out of the way.
but its very annoying. i will be in the middle of a game with 80fps and close open 25-30 fps! .
I have windows in my hand and i am about to just format my hard drive im pissed.

    Any help would be great.
Btw.. no programs are running in the background that use alot if any resources.
    I have no virus either.

Drop your CPU oc to stock and see if it's stable.
That's the only think I can think, or your gpu is thermal throttling.
    Just make a few tests..

Im with Kingpin on this did you stress test that overclock as I mentioned to you in the other post?

I still doubt a 900mhz overclock on a CPU clocked at 2.53ghz is stable under load. Would explain the reason software is shutting down.

What are your GPU temps? If they are ok it sounds like it could be the GPU drivers maybe. A factory reset if the drivers are the cause should fix it.

I think i know exactly why this is happening. I have had the same issues too. Its because of your gpu being overclocked. Look carefully when your games close on you or your screen goes black for few seconds, what happens is that your clocks speeds drop down to 2D desktop (383,767,301) from 3D clock speeds which causes your fps to half or maybe even low. The solution for this is to reduce the clock speeds/memory or get it back to default settings.

Im still not sure what causes this but its most likely that the power brick can't supply which enough power.

    Thankyou for the help guys.
But i did a clean install of Win7 and the problem stopped.
The install was all messed up and windows update wouldn't even work.
